Holocaust and Human Rights: A Study Tour for American Teachers through Germany (June 05 – 15, 2026)

On behalf of Classrooms Without Borders

On this trip, teachers will have the opportunity to learn about both German history and modern Germany. At the request of our client, the focus was placed on Jewish history, including the Holocaust. However, post-war history and contemporary Germany are also part of the program.

In addition, there is also free time in which the teachers can explore the cities they visit independently and according to their own interests.

The trip covers Munich, Nuremberg and Berlin. Guided city tours with different focuses alternate with workshops and visits to memorial sites and museums. For example, there will be visits to the Munich Nazi Documentation Center, the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, the medieval old town of Nuremberg, the Nazi Party Rally Grounds in Nuremberg, the exhibition on the Nuremberg Trials, the Jewish Museum Berlin, the Bernauer Strasse Wall Memorial and much more.

2 nights in Munich
1 night in Nuremberg
6 nights in Berlin
