Holocaust and Human Rights: A school trip through Germany (March 15 – 24, 2024)

On this trip, the students had the opportunity to get to know both German history and modern Germany. At the request of the responsible teachers, the focus was placed on Jewish history, including the Holocaust. However, post-war history and contemporary Germany were also part of the program.
In addition, there was also free time for the students to explore the cities they visited independently and according to their own interests.
The tour went from Berlin via Nuremberg to Munich. General city tours alternated with workshops and museum visits. For example, the Jewish Museum Berlin, the Bernauer Strasse Wall Memorial, the interactive exhibition 7xjung, the Nuremberg Nazi Party Rally Grounds, the exhibition on the Nuremberg Trials and the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial were visited and there was also a school visit on the agenda.
