German and History Study Tour for high school students to Germany (May 30 – June 10, 2026)

This trip is designed to expose students from Burlington High School, VT to the German language and expand their German language skills, as well as provide an opportunity to learn about both German history and modern Germany. At the request of the teacher in charge, the trip features fine art, castles and gardens, explores the Holocaust and also offers sports activities such as climbing in the forest high ropes course.
There is also plenty of free time for the students to explore the cities they visit independently and according to their own interests.
The trip covers Munich, Dresden and Berlin.
General city tours alternate with workshops and museum visits. For example, the Alte Pinakothek and the Pinakothek der Moderne as well as the English Garden in Munich, the Dachau concentration camp memorial, the Residenzschloss Dresden, the Bernauer Strasse Wall memorial, the Reichstag and the Spy Museum in Berlin will be visited. The students can also try out their physical skills in the Jungfernheide forest high ropes course in Berlin.
