Book Agency receives European Travel Award for 2025

The Book agency was awarded the “European Travel Experience Excellence Award 2025” this year. This award recognizes the outstanding quality and special educational focus of its tailor-made travel packages.

The Berlin-based agency, headed by Gerrit Book, has been offering individual cultural and educational trips throughout Germany and Europe for many years – for groups, schools, universities, families, and individual travelers. Whether thematic city tours, museum visits, workshops, or multi-day excursions: each trip is personally developed and closely coordinated with the customer.

One focus is on historical-educational programs related to the history of the Holocaust, National Socialism, and issues of human rights, racism, and discrimination. Thanks to a strong international network of partners, including several educational institutions in the US and the Goethe-Institut Berlin, the agency combines in-depth knowledge with lively travel experiences.

In addition to educational trips, the Book agency also offers a wide range of cultural and leisure programs, such as Rhine cruises, wine tastings, Alpine tours, and excursions to lesser-known places in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe. Each tour is individually designed and combines expert guidance with sufficient time for personal discovery.

Gerrit Book describes the approach as follows: “We develop each trip in close consultation with our customers—from the initial draft to the perfect program.”

The awards underscore the agency’s commitment to designing trips that are both inspiring and educational—and demonstrate the growing popularity of its combination of culture, knowledge, and personalized travel planning.
